I’m one of those people that blasts Christmas music the day after Halloween! The holidays are a time to enjoy delicious treats, go to festive events, and spend time with friends and family. This can mean lots of traveling! Traveling can bring all sorts of unexpected situations, which is why I’m going to show you how to make your very own DIY emergency travel kit. This way you can be prepared for anything that comes your way during your holiday adventures.

-Small pouch

-Vinyl stickers

-Fabric glue or glue gun

-Emergency travel kit essentials

DIY Emergency Travel Kit STEP 1: After you have found the perfect pouch, use some vinyl letter stickers to personalize your pouch. I simply spelled out “travel kit”, but you can add your name or any fun travel quote you would like. Depending on the type of fabric your pouch is made of, you can use either fabric glue or a glue gun to help ensure that the letters will stay put.

DIY Emergency Travel Kit STEP 2: After your vinyl letters are secured on your pouch, it’s time to fill your pouch with some travel essentials. The first thing going in my pouch is Clear Eyes® Pure Relief™ Multi-Symptom. Spending long hours on an airplane and being in the cold weather can easily lead to irritated eyes. I love the fact that these eye drops are preservative free and provides up to 12 hours of soothing comfort! It also has a built-in purifying filter that keeps out bacteria, which makes it suitable for traveling!

DIY Emergency Travel Kit STEP 3: Place all of your essentials in your pouch, zip it up, and into your carry-on it goes! Here are ideas of other things you can include in your kit:

-Hair ties and bobby pins
-Stain remover pen
-Vitamin C drops
-Mints or gum
-Band aids
-Ear plugs
-Lip balm

DIY Emergency Travel Kit I always make sure to pack lightly, so I can move quickly when I travel. My go to travel outfit is always a comfy t-shirt, jeans, sneakers, and a sweater in case it gets chilly.

DIY Emergency Travel Kit Hope you guys enjoyed this quick DIY tutorial. What are your plans for the holidays? Will you be traveling anywhere exciting?
